UPDATE - FEMALE SURVIVOR OF LEASINGHAM RTC ARRESTED

A woman has been arrested after two men were killed in a road traffic collision in the early hours of this morning (Thursday).

A 27-year-old local woman has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving in relation to the incident. She is currently helping police with their enquiries.

The incident happened at around 2.50am on the A15 Leasingham bypass where a Vauxhall Astra car left the road, and two male passengers, a 37-year-old Waddington man and a 23-year-old Sleaford man, were pronounced dead at the scene.

No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident to get in touch with them as soon as possible by calling the collision witness hotline on 01522 558855, quoting incident number 37 of December 27.
