Man hurt in A15 crash near Aslackby

A man was taken to hospital after a two-vehicles collision on the A15 near Aslackby on Saturday.

It was reported to police at about 8.25pm and fire crews used cutting gear to free two people.

It is thought that the black Volkswagen Golf could be in a ditch and not visible from the road.

The road was closed for about two and a half hours and a man was checked over at Peterborough City Hospital.

Meanwhile, emergency services were called to a two-vehicle collision on the A16 in Wyberton on Sunday.

It was reported shortly before 12.30pm and fire crews from Kirton and Boston used hydraulic cutting gear to release two people.

It isn’t thought that anyone was seriously hurt.

Earlier on Sunday, a man had to be given oxygen treatment after his car left a road near Bourne on Sunday morning.

Police suspect a black Volkswagen Golf left the A151 in Twenty and landed in a ditch at about 1.30am.

The man was able to get out of the care and then taken to Peterborough City Hospital but he wasn’t thought to have been seriously hurt

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “His vehicle has not been found despite repeated and thorough searches and it is thought that the black Volkswagen Golf could be in a ditch and not visible from the road.

“If anyone sees this vehicle, please call 101 and quote incident reference number 22 of October 11.”
