More details on man seen ‘touching himself’ on Sleaford railway station

Further details have been released by police about a man reportedly seen ‘touching himself’ on Sleaford railway station yesterday.

A police spokesman said details on of this incident have been widely circulated via social media. He said: “A man was seen acting suspiciously or strangely in the vicinity of Sleaford railway station at around 1pm on Thursday October 8.

“A 17-year-old girl and her female friend became uneasy at the way he was looking at them and touching himself. He did not approach the girls. He drove away in a blue or grey people carrier type vehicle. A registered number was taken but does not relate to a vehicle of that type.”

The man is described as in his 30’s, with shaggy hair and a beard. He was wearing a dark grey tee shirt, dirty tracksuit bottoms and brown shoes.

No-one was injured or assaulted but police would like to speak to the man in order that he might explain the motives behind his behaviour.

Anyone with any information is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 179 of October 8.
