A man has died following a collision on the A15 at Ashby de la Launde on Sunday (November 29).

Emergency services were called to the scene at the A15 junction with Temple Road just before 6pm.

A police spokesman said the collision involved a motorcyclist riding a Suzuki bike, a black Ford Focus and a silver BMW 5 Series.

The motorcyclist died following the incident.

The police spokesman said on Monday that they could yet release the rider’s name: “We’re still making sure all family are aware.”

The driver of the Ford Focus was taken to hospital for treatment for minor injuries. There were no other injuries to anyone involved, according to police reports.

The road re-opened at 2.55am on Monday morning.
