Sleaford man seriously injured after crash at RAF Waddington

A 24 year-old man from the Sleaford area has been seriously injured after his car crashed through the perimeter fence of RAF Waddington.

Emergency services attended the single vehicle crash on the A15 at 2.30am on Sunday morning after a black Hyundai left the road and went through the perimeter fence of RAF Waddington.

The driver, who was the sole occupant, was taken to Lincoln County Hospital with serious head and facial injuries.

The road was closed overnight.
