Two people have been hurt after a vehicle crash on the A17 in Leadenham today.

Retained firefighters from Sleaford arrived at the scene just after 2.15pm and gave first aid to two casualties.

Fire crews also cleared up an oil spillage on the road but at this stage it is not known how the crash happened.

THURSDAY 5.15PM: Collision between lorry and motorbike blocks A607 near Harmston

Police are warning that the A607 is closed between Waddington and Harmston following a collision between a HGV lorry and a motorbike.

The collision happened this morning (Thursday) at 11.36am.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “Ambulance attended and took a man to Lincoln County Hospital. His condition is not thought to be critical. The road is currently closed with diversions being arranged.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision but who has not yet spoken to police should call 101 with incident reference number 142 of October 1.”
