Village’s fun day in memory of Chris

Have your say

A special family fun day is being planned by villagers to celebrate the life of the late Chris Banks, a well-known Leasingham resident, who died earlier this year from heart disease.

Chris would have celebrated his 60th birthday at the beginning of August, so his family and friends have organised a fundraising event at the Duke of Wellington pub on Saturday, August 1, from 1-6pm.

There will be a bouncy castle, barbecue, paella stand, sweet stall, a raffle, tombola, ice cream van, face painting, craft stall, lucky dip and a cake stall. Proceeds will go to the British Heart Foundation.
