A charity shop volunteer is again doing her bit for the Stand Up To Cancer fundraiser.
Sue Pitts, 52, of Sleaford, who has rheumatoid arthritis, has pledged to walk on a treadmill for two days (9am-5pm) in the window of the town’s Cancer Research UK shop. Last year she stood in the window for two days and raised more than £1,300. This time she aims to top £1,000 through sponsorship and donations after her challenge this Friday and Saturday.
She said: “There is no target distance, I will just keep walking, apart from ‘comfort’ breaks.”
