Sleaford Golf Club captain Neil Tunstall held an excellent Captain’s Day over the weekend. Over 200 golfers from the club took part with Andy Alvey and Ann Lyon taking the overall Gents and Ladies prizes.

Bowls short week

Five matches scheduled but only two played last week. They played Collingham on their green on Monday in the City (evening) League. Les Wilkinson, with Jock Mitchell and Vic Farmer finished two shots down at 20-22. John Booth, Keith Pilbeam and Paul Butterworth ended 21-33 down.

Sleaford Town Bowls club played six matches this week.
