Tae Kwon-do
FOUR members of Sleaford Tae Kwon-Do Club competed in the South London championships at Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre at the weekend and returned home with eight medals.

First degree black-belt Ben Clarke won bronze in the boys’ black-belt middleweight sparring, while his brother Joshua won two individual medals – bronze in the red belt patterns and silver in middleweight sparring.

James Hill won gold in the red-belt lightweight sparring and Christopher Scott-Combes picked up silver in the boys’ heavyweight sparring.

Later in the day Ben, Joshua and James entered the team sparring event, winning three gold medals for Sleaford club.
