THE start of the New Year and a resumption of fixtures after the big freeze has brought little comfort for Sleaford Rugby Club 1st XV.
Having lost at Loughborough 46-5 the week before, the Red and Blacks entertained Midland Two East (North) league leaders Market Rasen and Louth on Saturday and went down 57-7.

With just one win in 12 league outings so far this season, Sleaford lie second from bottom in the table, with only points difference separating them from bottom club West Bridgford.
