Sleaford Town Runners

IT has been a quieter period for Sleaford Town Runners, though one which still produced some good results.

For the Eye 10K, the runners had to contend with a head wind for the majority of the race. Paul Ray was the first Sleaford Town Runner to finish, recording a time of 45mins 28secs.

He was followed by Debbie Sutton (55.09); Stan Thornton (1hr 3min) and Lisa Harmon (1hr 14).

Alex Hetherington and Dave Taylor ran the Seabank Marathon, from Boston to Skegness, and crossed the finish line together in 3hrs 56mins.

Matt Blunden completed the Bupa Great Manchester 10k Run in 33.25, finishing 58th overall.
