Jayne will hold a torch for race

Sleaford Town Runners' Jayne MacArthur travelled to Wath-Upon-Dearne to take part in the inaugural Manvers Dusk Till Dawn endurance event recently.

This is a 12-hour laps-based event, the course being a 3.21 mile loop anti-clockwise around the lake.

At the end of each lap at race HQ, runners are given a coloured wristband and are required to tick the lap counter sheet next to their name.

Jayne completed 14 laps, totalling 44.94 miles and says she will be back to take on the challenge next year - albeit with a torch next time.

Four club members competed at the Heckington Show’s 10-mile road race.

Their finishing times were: Carl Winwood 01:16:00, Mark Ellis 01:23:16, Ingrid Williams 01:27:08 and Stanley Thornton 01:45:57.
