London Marathon target hit

After two luxurious pamper events, Julie Spencer has reached the amount of money required to fulfil her dream of running the London Marathon.

Julie, of Quarrington, needed to raise a minimum of £1,700 to run the prestigious April event, and after a recent pamper event at Darmons Bar, she has reached £1,7025.

Julie has extended her thanks to all her friends and family, and the generosity of strangers who supported her events, in helping her reach her total.

It is just over two month to the big day and Julie has been focusing all her energies on training, reaching the 20 mile mark recently, and has even been out running in the snow, getting covered in sludge from passing cars in the process.
