Spires and Steeples Challenge attracting entrants from all corners of the country

THE fifth annual Spires and Steeples Challenge is already attracting keen interest.

This year’s event is taking place on Sunday, October 14 and offers participants the chance to take part in either a 13 or 26 mile charity walk or run. The longer route starts from Lincoln Castle and the shorter course from Metheringham, with both finishing in Sleaford.

Entries have been coming in from competitors from all over the country, including Kent, Essex, Bedfordshire, York, Morpeth and Inverness.

If you would like to take part the cost of entering the Spires and Steeples Challenge is £12 in advance or £15 on the day. Places are limited to a maximum entry of 1,000. To enter the challenge or for information on how you can get involved as a volunteer, contact Donna Lill on 07980 696884, or at EventsOfficer@leisureconnection.co.uk, or log on to www.spiresandsteeples.com
