n ONLY three matches were played this week by Sleaford Town bowlers.

Away at Eslaforde Park on Monday evening, the Town lost the aggregate score 68-87 and score two points with one winning rink.

J Gilbert, C Frain and B Gilbert won 30-12, L Morris, A Upsall and P Musson lost 12-23, P Annison, S Morris and J Parker lost 13-24 and P Adkin, G Turner and R Lupton lost 13-28.

At home against Dunholme in the district league, four winning rinks gave the town 14 valuable points with an aggregate score of 90-61. J Wareham, B Gilbert and A Bird won 28-11, N Mapletoft, D Curt and P Jobson won 22-17, J Parker, J Cope and M Wareham won 19-15 and P Annison, R Neaverson and T Cope won 21-18.

At home to Moorlands/railway B in the EBA league, two wining rinks were enough to take the aggregate score 68-45 and eight points to the visitors’ two.

N Mapletoft, R Neaverson, P Musson and P Jobson won 22-19, J Gilbert, M Titley, D Curt and T Cope won 32-12, P Adkin, J Parker, R Lupton and R Barnes lost by one shot 14-15.
