AT home to Washingborough in the City League, Sleaford won on all four rinks and won on aggregate 106-67 to take a maximum 14 points.

For Town, N Mapletoft, R Lupton and A Bird won 34-16; P Musson, B Srawley and R Barnes won 27-15; M Titley, P Jobson and T Cope won 24-19 and J Parker, D Curt and D Smith won 21-17.

At home to Leasingham in the Sleaford League Town won on three rinks to take 10 points to the visitors’ two with a score on 88-58. R Wilson, M Jarrold and B Gilbert won 25-9; K Hopwood, J Gilbert and M Wareham won 30-16; L Morris, A Upsall and J Cope won 27-11; R Bird, S Morris and J Parker 6-22.

Away at Billingborough in the Woodhall Spa Friendly League Sleaford won on two rinks to take four points to the home side’s two. L Morris, A Upsall and J Cope lost 15-19; K Hopwood, K Dye and T Bell won 19-12; Rose Barnes, M Jarrold and P Annison won 24-19.

Away at the castle (Tattershall) in the Sleaford League on Wednesday evening Town won on three rinks and on aggregate 73-66 to take 10 points to the home side’s two. P Adkins, P Annison and B Srawley won 23-15; R Wilson, J Gilbert and M Wareham won 19-15; C Frain, J Wareham and B Gilbert won 17-16; P Stokes, R Lupton and R Markham lost 14-20.

Thursday night’s home game against Heckington was postponed because of a flooded green.

A Bird (four wood singles) and P Jobson and T Cope (two wood doubles) have qualified from this area in the EBA competitions. They will play in the semi-finals at Blossom Way (Immingham) on Saturday.

Bird has qualified to play in the quarter finals in the two wood singles (Weigall cup) at Washingborough on Sunday.
