DEFENDING champions Billingboroughj took the opportunity to close in on the top two in Division One with a 20 point victory over Sleaford 2nd.
Steve Scott put in a man of the match performance for Billingborough with an innings of 65 not out before taking four Sleaford wickets.
Stamford Town moved to the top of the division following a 20 point win over Bourne 2nd. Former leaders Spalding were without a game.
Welby consolidated their lead in Division Two with victory over Cavaliers, with Boston 2nd now 15 points behind despite a good win over fellow challengers Stamford Town 2nd.
And Heckington continued their good run, beating Blankney, Chris Morley hitting the division’s only half century.
