SOUTH LINCS AND BORDER LEAGUE: Round-up
The damp conditions didn’t prevent Tom Dixon hitting a massive 162 in Woodhall Spa’s innings of 306 for seven with Grantham replying with 195 for six.
At Stamford, in a game reduced to 35 overs a side, the home team struggled to 86 for nine, Luke Hollingworth taking three wickets before going on to hit an unbeaten 54 to take his side to a nine wicket win.

Will Charlesworth and Ian Glendinning got Heckington’s pursuit off to a good start but after Glendinning was run out for 55 and Daniel Blankley joined the attack, the visitors found runs hard to come by.
Blankley took four wickets but with one run needed, it was James Reason who ended the Heckington innings with scores level.
Chris Wharmby was the architect of Claypole’s victory, taking six Pinchbeck wickets for just seven runs to leave his side chasing just 48, a total they overtook for the loss of two wickets.
