Switch of Sunday leagues for cricketers

SLEAFORD Cricket Club has elected to join a different league on Sundays for the 2012 season.

The club’s first eleven have left the Newark Alliance League, mainly due to the amount of travelling involved, and will this year be playing in Division One of the Lincoln League.

The Sleaford Sunday side is to be renamed Sleaford Academy and will be joining Division Four of the Lincoln League. Gavin Hutson, the club’s new chairman, will remain as captain, with the Academy side to be mainly made up of young players.
