Defeat at the seaside ends Sleaford's run

Cricket Readers ECB Premier League. ANOTHER good innings by Sleaford all rounder Steve Bradford could not prevent his side's three game winning streak come to an end at Skegness on Saturday.

But Sleaford pushed the league's second placed team all the way.

Batting first, the visitors were bowled out for 190, with Bradford making 55.

Fielding and bowling well, Sleaford gave the seasiders a hard time and it took the home side until the 47th over before the target of 191 was reached, with five wickets down.

Andrew Crook and Warren Nel did the damage with bat and ball for Woodhall - Crook hitting 78 runs, to take him over the 500 mark for the season, and taking three wickets, while Nel made 68 runs and claimed four wickets.

Woodhall's 262 for nine was the highest score of the day and though Deeping recovered from losing two early wickets, they could reach only 159 when the final wicket fell.
