Billinghay Reserves strike four against Harriers

Saturday League results from December 1.

Taylors Peugeot Division One: Jac Wright hit a hat-trick for Billinghay Athletic Reserves in their 4-1 home win against Spalding Harriers.

Adam Burrows grabbed the other Billinghay goal but had their goalkeeper to thank for preventing the Spalding team getting back into the game towards the end of the contest.

Apart from saving a penalty, the home keeper pulled off some excellent saves in the last 10 minutes to keep his side well ahead.

Taylors Ford Division Two: Martin Lynch’s two goals for Coningsby Reserves were not enough to earn any reward when they entertained promotion favourites Ruskington Rovers.

The visitors moved back to the top of the table following a 5-2 away win.

Taylors Garages Premier Division: Pointon lost 5-1 to Swineshead.

Taylors Vauxhall Division Three: Pointon A’s game against Tulip was called off as were several other matches due to bad weather.
