The two sides went into Saturday’s game with greatly contrasting form – Sleaford Town unbeaten in four and Desborough on a three match losing run.
The result eventually went with the form book, but only in the closing stages of the contest, with Lincoln City loanee Andy Wright scoring the decisive goal for the Greens in the third added minute at Eslaforde Park.
