Meanwhile, Sleaford Town came back from behind to seal victory at home to Harrowby United Reserves, whilst Lincoln Moorlands wiped out a two-goal deficit to clinch a point against Nettleham.

The game between Lincoln-based Ruston Sports and Sleaford Sports Amateurs was abandoned after 67 minutes due to a serious injury suffered by a Rustons player.

Leaders Skegness Town grabbed three points at CGB Humbertherm, with second placed Hykeham Town keeping the pressure on with a comfortable victory over Horncastle Town.

Third placed Grimsby Borough Reserves registered another clean sheet as they claimed three points at home to Wyberton.

In the local derby at Market Rasen Town’s Rase Park, Louth Town edged out their neighbours, while Immingham Town won a five-goal thriller against Brigg Town Reserves.

Sleaford Town’s second string had to come back from behind to clinch the spoils at their Harrowby United counterparts.

Louis Bland gave the home side the lead after just two minutes.

But an Eddie Davies hat-trick and further goals from Corey Newman and Alan Forwood turned the game on its head.

The result lifted the Eslaforde Park outfit to 12th place in the table.
