editorial image

THERE will be a reduced Sills and Betteridge Lincolnshire League programme on Saturday due to the league’s involvement in the FA Inter League quarter-finals at Lincoln United’s Ashby Avenue ground (kick-off 3pm).

But the top two teams are both in action as they push for honours.

Leaders Cleethorpes Town make the long trip to Swineshead Institute, while Skegness United hope to keep the pressure on when they welcome Louth Town Reserves to Wainfleet Road Playing Fields.

Fourth placed Nettleham travel to CGB Humbertherm, while Ruston Sports entertain neighbours Hykeham at Newark Road.

The bottom two cross swords at Eslaforde Park, where Sleaford Town Reserves hope to close the gap on fellow strugglers Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves.

Fixtures: CGB Humbertherm v Nettleham; Ruston Sports v Hykeham; Skegness United v Louth Tn Res; Sleaford Town Reserves v Lincoln Moorlands Railway Reserves; Swineshead Institute v Cleethorpes Town.

FA Inter League Cup – Lincolnshire Football League v Cheshire Football League.
