Ryan Oliver grabbed a hat-trick as Sleaford Town thrashed Huntingdon 7-2 on Saturday.

It proved to be a goalfest for the hosts during the weekend’s UCL Premier contest at Eslaforde Park, which saw Sleaford end the day in fourth spot in the standings.

Luke Hollingworth also found his name on the scoresheet as he netted a brace.

Further goals came from Joe Smith and Liam Tunstall, while the Croms’ consolations arrived courtesy of Jordan Brockett and Luke Young.

Town certainly bounced back in style following last Tuesday’s league defeat to Lincolnshire rivals Deeping Rangers.

Goals from Scott Coupland (two) and Jack Cotton were enough for Rangers to claim the three points.

With action coming thick and fast in the UCL Premier, Sleaford return to action this evening (Wednesday).

Yaxley, who ended the weekend as league leaders, will be the visitors to Eslaforde Park (KO 7.45pm).

Town travel to face Peterborough Sports in the FA Vase on Saturday (KO 3pm), before Tuesday’s trip to Deeping Rangers for a Lincolnshire Senior Trophy fixture (KO 7.45pm).

Sleaford Town Reserves currently top the Lincolnshire League. Jasper Caudwell (two), Jac Wright and Jason Barrett scored in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Skegness Town.
