Fourteen-year-old Tommy Saunders from Sleaford has had a once in a lifetime experience at his favourite football club.

Arsenal’s fixture against Everton marked the club’s annual Arsenal for Everyone match day, which celebrates the diversity of the Arsenal community.

Tommy is a disabled supporter and has been a Purple Junior Gunner member since August 2011. Last weekend Tommy lead out the teams as the match ball carrier in front of nearly 60,000 supporters.

Tommy’s father, Paul said Tommy had a wonderful day and the experience was an unforgettable one. He said: “It was an extraordinary feeling being out in the middle with everyone watching in the stadium.”

Tommy also met Arsenal legend Lee Dixon, who officially opened the newly-renovated disabled supporters’ lounge.
