Village club needs more players

BUDDING young footballers are being invited to give a local team a try.

On Saturday Cranwell Junior Football Club will be holding their annual open day to try and recruit new members.

The club needs more young players to come and join their teams and children aged between six and 16 are invited to go along and see what Cranwell JFC has to offer.

During the day there will be a taster coaching and training session which will show prospective players how the club operates.

The open day will take place at the Qaboos Pavilion at RAF Cranwell from 10am to 12 noon.

For more information, call club chairman Darren Brewin on 07525 423332.
