Sleaford Town Dynamoes are holding open trials at their club pitches on Boston Road on Saturday morning, from 9.30 to 11.30am.

After a busy routine of friendly matches over the last few weeks, the under-13s side have been somewhat ravaged by injuries, some being long term.

Dynamoes manager Dean Barnshaw said: “We have put in a number of gutsy performances against higher league and older teams of late and sadly it has taken its toll on the squad. We are still to start in the Mid Lincs C League and our first competitive game is away in the Todd Cup to Greenbank Buccaneers on Sunday, who are a level above us.”

He said everything is in place – the kit, the coaching and the pitches. We just need a few of more players to get us through the season.”

Dean also took the opportunity to thanks sponsors Allen Savill from Sleaford Catering Services, Neil Horne of Horne Brothers Carpets and local businessmen Paul Cook and Paul Ellis,
