Kyme win on rare day of sunshine

WITH rain affecting many matches and tournaments this season, South Kyme Golf Club ladies enjoyed a rare day of sunshine when they defeated Sandilands 3 and 1.

Both June Medal events were eventually played, with Sandra Lee winning the Sunday Medal, ahead of Joy Butler in second place and Zena Moor third.

The June Tuesday Medal was won by Heather Dopierala. Sandra Lee came second and Jackie Downing was third.

Anne Husthwaite returned from holiday to win the June Stableford. Sue Annibal finished in second place and Carole Gaunt was third.
