Grand master enthrals Tae Kwon-do enthusiasts

A seminar, conducted by Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain chairman grand master David Oliver, was held at Northgate Sports Hall in Sleaford.

Hosted by Sleaford instructor Jill Pearce, the action packed event attracted over 100 enthusiasts from Sleaford and local clubs in the surrounding area.

Jill said: "Master Oliver trains all over the world as president of Tae Kwon-do International. It was a great honour to welcome him back to Sleaford and a thrill for all the new students who have never trained with him before."

The main emphasis of the day was self-defence and street survival techniques for both junior and adult members and master Oliver incorporated skills suitable for everyone.

At the end of the session the members were able to question master Oliver on his knowledge of Tae Kwon-Do, his expertise as a seventh degree master and all subjects linked to training in the Korean military martial art.
