Specsavers Opticians in Southgate, Sleaford, are the proud sponsors of the Sleaford Striders Race Series and last weekend saw the penultimate event in that calendar, the Robin Hood half and full marathon.

Many other Striders achieved personal, season or comeback best times.

Others: Rob Caven 1.37.35, Dave Burton 1.40.09, Bryan Brockington 1.47.33, Bill Rayner 1.51.24, Hannah North 1.52.18, Andy Dickinson 1.52.19, Dawn Bailey 1.58.45, Josh Williamson 2.0042, Simon Sleaford 2.04.26, Ann Riddell 2.17.02, Graham Riddell 2.17.52, Tracey Dickinson 2.17.52, Jim Millar 2.17.52.

On a windy but flat course closer to home, members of Sleaford Striders took part in the West Pinchbeck 10k race.
