Eslaforde Park Bowls Club held their annual Betty Knight Trebles competition on Saturday at their Boston Road green where a full contingent of players took full advantage of the fine weather.

The event was kindly sponsored by Turnbulls Builders Merchants with Martin Pallister, manager of the plumbing department, presenting a cheque to the winners and runners-up.

The round robin competition of five matches, eight ends in each game, was eventually won by Peter and Diane Turner, with Carolyn Smith from Woodhall Spa, who scored a total of 58 points, from runners-up Peter Annison, Paul Roberts and Richard Musson from Sleaford with a score of 51.

The trophy was presented to the winning set by Eddie Knight.
