BOWLS: Sleaford Town win four out of four

Sleaford Town Bowls Club played four matches this week and were successful in them all.

At home to Vacu-Lug in the ASC Metals League, all rinks were won to take 10 points and the aggregate score of 61-38.

Results: Peter Annison, Julie Cope and Colin Grosse won 28-14; Linda Morris and Trevor Cope won 21-12; Steve Morris and Larry Davies won 20-12.

At home in the Sleaford League against Cranwell, three rinks won and one drew to take the aggregate score 80-62 and 11 points.

Results: Kris Moore, Neil Mapletoft and Phil Musson won 18-14; Joan Gilbert, David Campbell and Bas Gilbert won 29-16; Robin Wilson, Callum Campbell and John Parker won 16-15; Peter Annison, Steve Morris and Larry Davies drew 17-17.

At home against Cherry Willingham in the District League, rink wins were shared two apiece with the Town taking the aggregate 92-74 and 10 points.

Results: Jackie Wareham, Kris Moore and Bas Gilbert won 37-10; Joan Gilbert, Roger Neaverson and Colin Grosse won 21-20; Ruth Bird, Julie Cope and Gwen Campbell lost 15-22; Gerald Woodhead, Gill Annison and Roy Markham lost 19-22.

At home to Rustons Sports in the EBA League, all three rinks were won convincingly with the score 91-27 and a maximum 10 points.

Results: Lewis Jobson, Roger Neaverson Mick Wareham and Andrew Bird won 25—8,John Parker Colin Grosse Phil Musson and Richard Barnes won 37—9,Martin Titley Larry Davies Kris Moore and Trevor Cope won 23—10.
