Eslaforde Park Bowls Club held their annual Three Wood Tyler Doubles competition at their Boston Road green in Sleaford and a full contingent of 16 sets of bowlers played in warm, sunny conditions last Saturday afternoon.

It is 40 years since the late Jack Tyler of Holdingham donated the cup and this year’s competition was won by Waylon Clarke and Mick Thompson who scored 43 points, from Michael Dunne and Ted Streeter who were close runners-up with 41.

The cup was presented to the winners by Mr Tyler’s grandson Paul Tyler and seven-year-old great-granddaughter Neve.
