Two young gymnasts have represented Lincolnshire in the Regional Floor and Vault Finals - both leaving with medals.

Erin Harbron, 10, and Yasmin Farrant, 13, competed for Sleaford Gymnastics Club in Leicester.

Both youngsters helped their teams walk away with the silver medal, while Erin finished off in second overall in her category, beating off strong competition from girls older than herself and from all over the East Midlands.

Members from Sleaford Gymnastics Club also competed in the County Level Five Championships in Spalding.

Six gymnasts participated on the day, with Sophie Halsall, Erin Harbron, Ella McCarthy, Sophie McAndrew, Rachel Harte and Emma Randall all performing well.

Erin was crowned the county level five vault champion, also claiming gold in her age category.

And as if that wasn’t enough, she also walked away with the overall silver for floor.

Emma and Sophie finished in joint fifth spot while Sophie finished in fifth in her age group.
