Leadenham made hard work of this match against a 10-man Wisbech team.

Leadenham applied the pressure but Wisbech defended well. It was not great hockey from either team but the village side did earn a vital three points.

A strong performance from Leadenham, with youngster Jack Cullen scoring the opening goal, and his first goal for the club, and earning himself man of the match.

This was followed by more dynamic play from the Leadenham forwards to score another four goals – two apiece for James Ireland and Ant Chapman.

Leadenham returned to their winning ways to secure a good victory against Bourne Deeping’s second string.

Leadenham goal scorer was Kate Ireland with a brace, whilst player of the match was Rosie Cambell.
