Sleaford Back2Netball Ladies 1st team are celebrating after their Grand Prix win.

The attacking unit of Clare Brown, Helen Garratt, Jane Mayers, Zoe Mallinson and Jess Williams of the B2N Blues were unstoppable with their accurate passing and high percentage of shooting opportunities converting to goals.

The defensive unit - Lynne Woods, Sally Darling, Rachel Spinks and Hiliary Jones - intercepted and turned over balls at every opportunity with their tight marking.

It meant the team were unbeatable throughout the tournament, which was held at Dean’s Leisure in Lincoln College on February 15. The girls brought in wins against Southwell 12-5, Bourne1 10-5, Grantham 15-4, Bassingham in the semi–final 12-6 and Forest Bows in the final 8-6.

The 2nd team (Sleaford B2N Red) had mixed results throughout the tournament. It is their first year together and they were pleased with their end result of 6th place in the tournament out of nine teams that entered.
