Plenty of action at autograss meeting although entries were down

A planned two-day autograss meeting at Hougham organised by Trent Autograss was reduced to just one day at the weekend, but the 49 drivers who participated on Sunday enjoyed a good meeting.

Winners were: Men’s 1 - WR27 Sam Hughes; Men’s 2 - SC122 Craig Conway; Men’s 3 - WR666 Jasper Aspinall; Men’s 4 - SC395 Thomas Sutton; Men’s 5 - T4 Dan/Phil Neville; Men’s 6 - no competitors; Men’s 7 - M87 Bob Rouse; Men’s 8 - N21 Dan Crosby; Men’s 9 - M247 Martin Hall; Men’s 10 - no competitors; Ladies 11 - T18 Clare Perkins; Ladies 12 - ST13 Hannah Willis-Dixon; Ladies 13 - no competitors; Ladies 14 - N21 Emily Crosby; Juniors - ST62 Matthew Hingbotham; F600 - SC91 Gary Pugh; Devils Race - SC122 Craig Conway.

Karl Bedford of Trent Auograss said: “The number of entries was down on normal as the date clashed with two UK autograss meetings.”

The club has two more meetings at Hougham this year on October 26 and November 9.
