The Premier League of the summer 2014 Sleaford pool season was won by FTV-Reel Club, despite a shock final-day defeat, with the newly-promoted Real Deal securing runners up spot with a game to spare.

The presentations to winners were made on the final match of the season at the Reel Club.

In Division One, Bull ‘n’ Dog F won the title with a final day victory and Venue B secured runners-up position, but they also gained runners-up in the divisional Knock Out Cup and also the Plate.

In Division Two, Pointon Social Club won the league with a superb unbeaten season and New Inn A were runners up - they also won the Divisional Knock Out Cup.

In Division Three, Northgate A just pipped The Duke to the title, beating them in the last game of the season while in Division Four Whichcote won the league with an unbeaten season. Cranwell were runners upand won their divisional knock out final and were runners up in the three hand final.

Winners were Tracey Deighton (ladies’ singles), Paul Harris (51 competition), Trevor Kenyon (over 60s), Jordon Green (under 21s) and Nick Burleythe (men’s singles)

One of the League’s top players, Shaun Callacher, from FTV Reel Club, recently made it to the last 16 of the World Pool Finals.
