Sleaford Tae Kwon-Do Club on song at county championships

Sleaford Tae Kwon-Do Club members travelled to Grantham Meres Leisure Centre for the Lincolnshire Tae Kwon-Do Championships.

Local club instructor Jill Pearce, selected members to compete in most of the different categories at the event.

The junior members took part in patterns, tag-sparring, speed kicking and the spectacular flying kicks event, while the adults were entered into a separate patterns division, tag and continuous sparring and black-belt destruction.

Later in the afternoon they entered the team events, including a two-person patterns section and a three-person tag-team sparring event.

The event attracted more than 300 competitors from across the county with Sleaford returning with three gold, five silver and eight bronze trophies and medals.
