Town won all three rinks to take 10 points with an aggregate score of 63—35.

Rink scores: Robin Wilson, Roger Neaverson, Roy Markham, Paul Jobson won 23—7; John Parker, David Curt, Kris Moore, Neil Mapletoft won 25—15; Martin Titley, Phil Musson, Larry Davies, Andrew Bird won 15—13.

* At home in the ASC Metals League against Washingborough, only one point was won with a drawn rink, losing the match 38—49.

Roy Markham’s set with Peter Annison and Callum Campbell drew 16-all, but Andrew Morris, Mick Faulkner and Larry Davies lost 10—18, and Ruth Bird, Gwen Campbell and Kris Moore lost 12—15.

* At St Giles in the National Two Club Fours, both rinks won for an overall 46—27 win.

John Parker, Larry Davies, Paul Jobson, and Ashley Caress won 28—17, and Kris Moore, Roger Neaverson, Neil Mapletoft and Andrew Bird came through 18—10.

* Away to Eagle in the City League, rink wins were shared two each with Town taking the aggregate 81—69 for 10 points to four.

Rink scores: Robin Wilson, David Curt, Kris Moore won 26—15; John Parker, Roger Neaverson, Phil Musson lost 18—19; Ken Dye, Larry Davies, Andrew Bird won 22—12; Peter Annison, Martin Titley, Neil Mapletoft lost 15—23.

* Away at Billinghay in the Sleaford League, rink wins were again shared two apiece, but Sleaford lost the game by just two shots 69—71, and four points to eight.

Rink scores: Ken Irwin, Mick Jarrald, Mick Faulkner lost 10—22; Clive Steadman, David Curt, Larry Davies won 23—13; Cecelia Faulkner, Ken Dye, Gwen Campbell won 25—13, Peter Annison, John Denney, Brian Srawley lost 11—23.
