Members of Sleaford Gymnastics Club took part in the county floor and vault championships at Spalding on Sunday, March 15.
Eleven gymnasts from the club competed with Yasmin Farrant, 13, getting a gold medal and qualifying to represent Lincolnshire with her team mate Erin Harbron, nine, who took the silver. Both girls will take part in the regional finals in Leicester. Rachel Harte and Hanna Rushen both finished in joint fourth position.
Head coach Sammi Emsley said: “There were over 130 gymnasts competing on the day so the girls from Sleaford did absolutely fantastic.”
Other Sleaford girls competing were: Mia Monteith, Amie Hatton, Ella McCarthy, Sophie Halsall, Emma Randall, Sophie McAndrew and Niamh Harbron.
Ms Emsley added: “We are currently trying to raise £900 for extra beam safety mats. One of our parents had her head shaved to try and help funds, whilst Elizabeth, aged eight, has organised her own sponsored walk and printed her own sponsor forms.
“We have been selling cakes in the gym and are asking if anyone or a company could donate raffle prizes or sponsorship.”
