Girls from Sleaford Gymnastics Club have been successful in a county level six competition.

Club coach Sammi Emsley said: “All girls performed absolutely fantastic and for many this was their first competition. “

Amie Hatton was the overall vault champion and came 2nd in her age group. Mia Monteith won gold in her age group, while Louise Hirst won bronze for her age category.

It was a debut competition for Poppy Hilton, Esme Knapton Carter, Isabelle Garratt, Niamh Harbron, Maisie Collins and Emma Randall. Seven out of nine girls passed their level 6 and two will now move up to level 5.

The club has recently celebrated being open for 18 years. In the new year the club will be offering a new sports acrobatics class which will be held on a Friday. For further details call 01529 300405/ 07507116210.
