A course hoping to get budding show jumpers into the saddle has been postponed for a week due to the weather.
The six-week course, funded by Sport England and Sportivate and open to non-members of British Show jumping aged between 14 and 25, will now start from next Wednesday (January 30).
Organised by Lincolnshire Sports Partnership, it is hoping to encourage new riders into the sport.
Joanne Burns, a UK Coaching Certificate level three coach, will be teaching the sessions.
Organisers said Joanne is an experienced show jumper.
Joanne said: “These lessons are heavily subsidised and this is a great opportunity for riders who are not currently members of British Show jumping to come along and have a go.
“They can train at a level to suit them and achieve their show jumping ambitions.”
The coaching will be available at a discounted rate of £90 for six sessions.
The sessions will be held between 6-7pm and 7-8pm at Riseholme College, Riseholme Park, Riseholme, Lincoln, LN2 2LG.
There are only 10 spaces available and bookings will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
Riseholme College offers stabling, riding and training facilities and has two American style barns, a do-it-yourself yard for students, two outdoor schools, one indoor school and a demonstration hall
