Storming performance from Hurricanes
Sleaford Barge Netball Club
SLEAFORD Barge Netball Club’s annual netball tournament was held at St George’s Academy.
Eighteen teams from around the East Midlands participated in the tournament, including three teams from the host club.
Three groups, each with six teams, played during the morning and were re-grouped for the afternoon session.
Sleaford’s under-16 squad made it into the second group for the afternoon session. Sleaford Barge Tornadoes won group two, with Horncastle Belles winning group three.
The overall tournament winners were Sleaford Barge Hurricanes, with Lincoln Imps runners up. The trophies were presented by Barge chairman Barbara Jones.
The tournament was organised by Mandy Hall.
