Memorial game for teenager

RUGBY playing boys and girls will be going head-to-head this weekend in memory of a former team-mate and friend.

Sleaford teenager Nathan Cook, 15, died of acute myeloid leukaemia in December.

Now his team-mates in Sleaford Rugby Club’s under-15 team are to play a charity fund-raising match against the under-15 girls in memory of Nathan.

Some of Nathan’s team-mates from St George’s Academy’s rugby team will also be joining in the match, which will take place on Saturday at the rugby club on Ruskington Road, kicking off at 12.30pm.

Entry to the match is by donation on the gate and all monies raised will go to a charity of the choice of Nathan’s parents Adrian and Anita Cook.
