The club would like to express thanks to the Sleaford REP Communities Panel and ECO2 Power plant in Sleaford for the generous grant they provided.

The grant enabled the club to purchase equipment that can be used for all ages, from U6 to U18. It will enhance the experience every child gets when playing rugby at Sleaford Rugby Club.

Among the equipment purchased were tackle rings, bibs, cones, slalom poles and the major purchase of a scrum sled which will help train and educate the young players on good technique in the scrum whilst performing them in a safe manner. This will give many teams much needed skills training over the coming years.

With the season at an end, Sleaford Rugby Club will be running touch rugby sessions every Wednesday from today (May 18), 7pm to 8.30pm, at a £1 a session. It is a great opportunity for everyone 10 years to 70 years old to come and enjoy rugby, keep fit and have fun. These sessions are open to everyone and no previous experience is needed
