Two out of two for ladies

SLEAFORD Tennis Club’s ladies’ team continued their fine start to the season with an easy victory over Grimsby 1st team.

Having opened their first ever season in Lincolnshire League Division Two with a win, Sleaford made it two victories in as many outings.

Once again they had to contend with showery conditions but the Sleaford players overcame the weather and their opponents to win 7-2.

The Sleaford team was: Rebecca Stone and Jeanette Turland; Kathy Kinnard and Ros Keane; Jenny Stone and Chris Loakes.

Sleaford’s next match is away to Woodhall Spa on Saturday, June 30.
