Under 13s go goal crazy

Birchwood Under-13s 0 Sleaford Town Under-13s 11 RETURNING to league action after a four week break, Town Under-13s totally dominated their match against bottom of the league Birchwood at the weekend.

Sleaford opened the scoring in the first minute when a through ball split the defence and Cheevers calmly slotted home the ball.

A further goal followed four minutes later, with Cheevers again finishing well.

Town had to wait another 20 minutes for their third as the Birchwood defensive line managed to keep them at bay for a while but then a devastating 10 minute spell saw Cheevers get his hat-trick, followed by an unfortunate own goal and Underwood-Harley and Brown also getting their names on the score-sheet to make the half time score 6-0.

Sleaford continued to dominate in the second half, with Underwood-Harley, Thompson, Brown, Webster and Cheevers (his fourth) finding the target to round off an excellent display.

Partridge, although he didn't score, was awarded the man of the match accolade for his tireless running and excellent distribution from midfield.

Town U13: Freddie MacLaren, Calum Marriott, Connor Robertson, Connor Gibson, David Stewart, Adam Underwood-Harley, David Brown, Aaron Partridge, Nathan Titley, Bradley Webster, Niall Cheevers. Subs: Jamie Mcmillan and Conor Thompson
